With nearly three decades of dedicated service, Pastor Eglan Brooks has been a steadfast leader within the Seventh-day Adventist Church across the British Isles.
His ministry began in the South England Conference (SEC), where he pastored local churches for eight years before serving as the SEC Pathfinder and Teens Director for six years—nurturing the spiritual growth of young people and developing vibrant youth initiatives.
In 2006, Pastor Brooks transitioned to the British Union Conference (BUC), where his leadership expanded across several departments. He first led Personal Ministries, LIFEdevelopment, and Church Growth for five years, before being elected as Evangelism Director. For six and a half years he oversaw a broad portfolio that included Evangelism, Personal Ministries, LIFEdevelopment, Church Growth, and Literature Evangelism. From 2017 to 2021, he also served as Ministerial Association Secretary, supporting and mentoring pastors across the Union.

In December 2021, Pastor Brooks was invited by the BUC Executive Committee to serve as President of the British Union Conference—a role he continues to hold with vision, humility, and purpose. With over 25 years in Church administration, Pastor Brooks remains deeply committed to spiritual leadership, mission advancement, and the growth of the Church across the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland.
Pastor Brooks has been happily married to Tina (née Samuel) for over 35 years. Tina is an accomplished musician and dedicated music teacher. Together, they have three adult children—Melody, Jasper, and Kyle—who continue to be a source of joy and inspiration.
